Blog
Geology explainers, real-vs-fake buying guides, and honest writing about where crystal-healing tradition actually comes from.
What this section covers, and what it deliberately avoids
Every article below exists to answer one specific, real question a crystal buyer or curious beginner actually has — how to tell a genuine stone from a common fake, why a particular treatment is so widespread it's barely disclosed anymore, or how a piece of folklore that sounds ancient turned out to be a 20th-century marketing invention. None of these posts are written to fill a content calendar; each one earns its place by covering something this site's stone and intent pages don't have room to explain at full length.
The one exception is the Complete Guide, flagged below — a genuinely longer mega-pillar piece meant to work as a standalone introduction for someone who's never bought a crystal before, covering the basics this site otherwise assumes readers already know once they land on an individual stone page.
What you won't find here
This blog deliberately skips generic listicles ("10 crystals for good vibes") and unsourced meaning round-ups, since that content already exists in abundance elsewhere and adds nothing this site's own stone pages don't already cover more rigorously. Every post below either explains a piece of real geology in more depth than a single stone page has room for, or investigates a specific, checkable claim — a treatment, a piece of folklore, a marketing term — honestly enough to say plainly when the answer turns out to be more mundane than the popular version of the story.
How new posts get added
New articles are added when a genuinely worthwhile topic surfaces — a treatment or identification question that keeps coming up, a piece of widely-repeated folklore worth fact-checking properly, or a buying-guide angle the stone pages themselves don't have room to cover in full. There's no fixed publishing schedule and no pressure to hit a weekly quota; a thinner list of genuinely useful posts is the goal here, not a padded one.
How to use this list
Posts are listed newest first, and each one is self-contained — you don't need to have read the others first to follow along. If you're brand new to crystals generally, start with the Complete Guide; if you're trying to verify a specific piece you already own or are about to buy, the real-vs-fake and treatment-disclosure posts are built specifically for that situation, and each one links back to the relevant stone's own full geology page for anything beyond the immediate buying question.
